Trijicon's HD Night Sights take the advanced features of their Bright & Tough line and further improve upon them. To increase acquisition speed, the HD series sights feature a a bright, yellow photoluminescent outline of the tritium lamp. The subdued rear sight has been steeply hooked to assist with one-handed emergency slide operation. Green lamps are warranted for 12 years from the date of manufacture.

The sight bodies are machined and phosphated steel to provide exceptional durability, while each tritium lamp is housed in aluminum cylinders mounted on silicone rubber cushions to withstand heavy shock and recoil. Each lamp has also been capped with sapphire jewels to evenly distribute light and protect the lamps from solvents and punctures.
